Membership to the Greater Houston LSU Alumni Association is available on a yearly basis.  We encourage everyone to join and become part of the fun!  Membership gets you on our e-mail list and postal mailing list.  You'll receive the latest in information around LSU, game watches, happy hours, college nights, events, and specials available to the Greater Houston LSU Alumni Association.

In addition, your membership is tax-deductible.  We are a non-profit organization - all monies collected by the Greater Houston LSU Alumni Chapter are given back to LSU to fund our current LSU professorship (currently up to $11,000 with a goal of $60,000).  In the past we have also completed one fully funded professorship ($60,000) and a Top 100 Scholarship ($20,000 - recipients are picked by LSU and not the Alumni Chapter).

Also, for those of you who have asked, there is also a North Houston LSU Alumni Chapter that has been sanctioned by LSU recently.  This chapter was created for those people who are in the Woodlands due to the large number of LSU alumnus in that area.  While we do maintain separate memberships, we do work together on our events here in the Houston area.  If you are currently a member of the Greater Houston chapter, but live in the Woodlands area, you are free to choose to join whichever chapter you wish, or both.
