Q. I have a personalized plate. Can I keep it with the specialty plate?

A. Yes, you own the rights to that personalized plate, so it is yours to keep. However, there is a limit to the amount of characters on a specialty plate. The limit is 6 characters, including spaces. So, something like "LSUGUY" or "LSUGAL" would be permitted, but not "LSU GUY" or "LSU GAL."


Q. Does the $30 cover the cost for both the front and back license plates?

A. Yes. With a $30 payment you will receive a plate for the front and back of your vehicle.
